Presley really had no desire to do the Teen Stage Kids production of Fame (she was worried about all the dancing), but her director did ask her to be a Teen Helper for the kids production of Winnie the Pooh. I had already signed up Harper for it, so it worked out perfectly for them to go together. Presley wasn't in charge of Harper's age group, so they were at the same place, but in different areas.
They practiced for Winnie the Pooh starting on July 5th and there were three performances on July 14th and 15.
Harper was so excited to be cast as a bee. She loved her costume and the dancing and being part of a a little hive.
(Presley had nothing to do with the casting).
Harper's Bio
Presley's photo was up as one of the teen helpers.
She took her bee part seriously, reading through the script in bed every night.
(She didn't have a solo speaking part).
I think she thought she was the understudy of the main characters!
Presley helping Harper get ready on Thursday for the dress rehearsal.
The first performance was on Friday at 2:00.
I was alone and there was one lone seat in the front row.
I was very lucky to see her so up close.

Presley and Harper
Grandma, Papa, Papa Berries, and Great Grandma Kreider came to see Friday's evening performance.
I went out to dinner with them before the show.
Harper and Presley's new little friend wanted to be in the family picture too.
I texted this to her mom and we got a laugh out of it.
I stayed for Saturday's performance too, and then I helped set up for the cast party afterwards.
I spent some time backstage on Saturday and got to watch Presley doing Kanga's make-up.

That's Tigger behind Harper eating his sundae.
Winnie the Pooh was a big hit for both Presley and Harper.
