Father's Day Week-end

On Friday night, we had a neighborhood BBQ.
The house had a built in trampoline and I thought for sure that Logan would just touch the ground below.  We had fun time visiting.

Joe, Lanae, Cristy, and Danny's family were in town for a baseball tournament for Mathew.
We knew we'd get to see them this week-end too.
Mathew had a really good tournament.
It was fun to watch him play.
Joe, Lanae, and Cristy came over and swam for a bit between games.
This is the only picture I took and that's Dave that's tossing Presley.
The water was warm, and Harper was happy to see Mickey and Geezer.

Sunday was Father's Day.
It took these 2 pictures in a burst...look how fast the kids move after the first picture is taken.

And a half second later...

Amy got the giggles over Dave and her's texts over the last year.
She sent me this screen shot.
(We're all in group texts together, but this is their personal text exchanges.)

And Presley posted a sweet Instagram message.

Grandma and Papa Nelson came over for lunch.
We swam and had pizza (Dave's choice).
(Harper was already feeling the jammies I guess)

They left about 4 and we went to see Cars 3.
Dave remembered there was go-karts down at Town Toyota.
Logan, Presley, and Ry could all drive their own.
There were no double seaters so Harper and I watched.

It was a great first week-end of the summer!
