Sounders Cup: July 21st-23rd

Rylan played in his first summer soccer tournament of the season.
We travelled to Tukwila and played at the Starfire Soccer Complex.
We played in the Silver Division of the Sounders Cup.

We had a game Friday night.

Our new uniforms have not arrived so Ry had to wear a loaner jersey.
They won tonight 3-0.

Our Saturday game wasn't scheduled until 6:00 in the evening.
We slept in, had a nice breakfast, and spent most of the day at Woodland Park Zoo.

The Woodland Park Zoo had a baby giraffe, but we didn't get to see her.
Rylan asked me if this was the same baby I watched be born on youtube. ha!

Harper got to have one extra treat for sleeping on the hotel floor for 2 nights in a row.
She chose a rainbow tiger face painting.
She was quite a sight at the soccer game later that evening.
She also chose rainbow dipping dots.

In the bird sanctuary.

Rylan's team one again on Saturday evening.
He did score one goal in this game.

We were fairly certain we would also make the championship game too.
And that meant 2 games on Sunday.
Starfire has some indoor turf fields that were open to the kids to play.

There was also a playground area.
Big Logan wouldn't get off his swing.

Rylan's team did win the championship game.
We did have a guest player play with us at this tournament, and Ry didn't play quite as much as we're used to.  He was super happy to win a tournament though.
