An email for Ry asking him to be part of the student advisory council at George Fox.

Someone anonymously recommended him. Ry doesn't know who.

We really encouraged him to be part of this.

Day 253, Thursday, September 10th

Harper went over to visit her Grandma today for lunch.

Day 254, Friday, September 11th

Cashmere Varsity Volleyball won the Yakima Sundome Championship today.

My car got hit today at the Yakima Sundome--noone left their contact info.

Day 255, Saturday, September 12th

Headed to the Chelan county Fair tonight.

Harper made us frozen pizzas for Sunday football lunch today.

Ry did not have school today...It was their annual Serve Day.

He spent today in Newberg neighborhoods pulling weeds and planting flowers.

Then facetimed to tell us all about his hard work.

Benson Boone!

We had tickets for Benson Boone in early August but he cancelled that concert due to the terrible wildfires in Spokane that weekend.

It was rescheduled for Sunday, September 6th, which worked out perfectly because the 7th was Labor Day so there was no school.

And, it was Miryn's THIRTEENTH birthday!

Miryn chose PF Changs in Spokane for dinner.

Alyson was still at work (would meet us later), but Shane decided to join us girls!

We all stayed at the Holiday Inn, and we got ready and walked over to the Spokane Arena.

We missed the opening act, waiting and standing in line for the merch.

Miryn had her poster and birthday girl sash on.

Alyson met us right after work at the front entrance.

Amy's seat was a row in front of us (we were only allowed to buy 6 tickets at a time)

Presley didn't join us this concert because she had to work on the original concert date (the new date would have worked out for her just fine).

This was her at her first concert, One Direction, in September 2014 (age 11).

I definitely could have gotten a very similar picture of Miryn!

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 36 (2026)

Day 246, Thursday, September 3rd

Ry facetimed us today from the Newberg Urgent Care.

He hadn't been feeling well and had been vomiting several times today and Dave told him to go get checked out. They gave him an IV of fluids, ruled out appendix, and did a CT scan that ruled out both kidney and gall stones, and sent him home with a prescription for nausea.

He was feeling better by Saturday.
