Breakfast with Buddy the Elf...

We read our Elf on the Shelf book on the 30th and left the book open for Buddy to get out and receive his Christmas magic.  We woke up to see that Buddy had prepared us a little breakfast treat with some goodies he brought from the North Pole.

The kids were happy to see their Buddy presents. 

Buddy watches the kids every day and flies back to the North Pole each night to tell Santa exactly how the kids behaved.  Then he flies back to our house and finds a new spot to spend that day.  The kids love waking up and being the first to find Buddy (except Presley...she's been scared of Buddy since the year he snuck into her room, took her Barbie car down to the kitchen, and sat in it with another one of her Barbies...what can Buddy say, he's a ladies Elf).  He's one of our favorite Christmas traditions.
