WOO HOO! Logan gets his license! (8-3-17)

I had made the appointment for the driving portion of the test back in July, but
I didn't realize that he had to pass the written portion before he could take the driving part.

We did pay for Logan to have a private drive so he could go over everything that would be on the drive test.  The lady told him to practice the 2 things that most kids need to practice:  parallel parking and backing around a corner, but that Logan had done well in all the other areas of the test.

When we arrived at the office, we were told he couldn't drive because the written was not done and passed.
So I told Logan to go ahead and take the written part (and then sat and waited and crossed my fingers).
It had been like 9 months since he completed his driver's training course.
You could miss up to 8 and he missed 7 and passed!

We had missed our appointment time doing the written part, but the lady said she could squeeze us in in about an hour.

We went for one more little drive, practicing parallel parking and backing around a corner (2 things we had practiced many many times in the few days leading up to his test).

His final drive took less than 20 minutes and he scored a 96%!

He was so pleased with himself!

Presley ran out to the driveway first and I held up his test score to her.
Then Ry and Harper ran out.

She's asking him, Did you pass the test?

His test score and his hula girl :)!

He just had to wait until Saturday, August 5th to officially go to the DMV and get his license.

18 months
We bought Logan a driving gator for Christmas when he was 2.
He drove his cousins and Presley and neighborhood friends all around in this thing!

(taken on August 5th, his first drive without an adult in the car with him)
