Easter 2014, April 20th

I am usually the one that really wants to stick with tradition but we had to do something different this year.  Samee's shower was on the 19th with Easter on the 20th so Harper and I went alone to that.  Presley and Ry both had soccer games on Saturday in Wenatchee and Logan had a soccer game on Saturday too in Hayden, Idaho.  So Dave handled the Wenatchee soccer games, Logan went with his coach to Hayden and Harper and I were in the Tri-Cities.  Harper and I came home on Saturday evening and we didn't want to make the drive again as a family on Sunday.  With Grandma and papa Nelson out of town at the ocean for the week-end, it was truly just us celebrating.

We started the morning with opening our Easter baskets and goodies from Grandma and Papa Kreider.
Oh my, I just noticed Daddy photo-bombing this picture.
I can't stop laughing now.

Then we finished getting ready and dressed and decided to try to go to a brunch.  We went outside to take alot of pictures.

Loaded up and ready to go

We ended up able to get in at our first stop:  Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery
It was expensive and the food was only so-so.
Ry managed to eat the Hershey miniature chocolates
Harper indicating she was done
Some of my favorite people
The weather was gorgeous and the winery decorated beautifully too.

Presley insisted on having an egg hunt later that afternoon.
She also insisted our egg hunt have a golden egg
(just like Papa does for us in the Tri-Cities every year)
Scoping things out
Happy to find hidden plastic eggs
Daddy giving them a golden egg clue

Look who found it!!

Super great Easter Sunday!!
