Our Life in Quarantine Part 2

Lots of new "normals" the past few weeks.
Organizing google meets, zoom meetings, and using flip grids for both teachers/students and to stay connected to family.

A Week 3 of Quarantine check in with the kids

Harper had a quarantine "HouseParty" with her friends.
They decorated T-Shirts, ate candy, and watched a movie together.

We finished our 1000 piece Disney puzzle.

We played the most cruel April Fool's Joke on the kids.
I thought Ry might start to cry!

Amy set up our first family ZOOM meeting.

One of Logan's first assignments was preparing a dinner for his family.
He made foil baked salmon and asparagus.

Thomas and Amy were the first people I knew that wore masks to the grocery store.
(Now Costco is mandating it when you come in their stores)

Basketball games of 21 and HORSE are played pretty much every day.

Ry got tired of his grown out hair so Dave shaved it off for him.

Harper joined in on a google meet with her Math Is Cool teacher.

We all gathered in the living room on April 6th to hear Govenor Inslee officially close school for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
(I love Harper's arm around Presley)

Week 4 Check In
Harper's first online assignment was showing a picture of her work station.
Presley doing a little school work outside in the sunshine.

Logan doing some reading outside too.
Logan's been doing quite a bit of running and biking.
We were driving home and passed him as he ran.
We stopped to give him a quick drink of water and off he went.
Two mom friends have texted me to tell me they've seen Logan jogging along the canal.

Logan and Rylan biked Sage Hills one morning.

We like our nightly walks too.

There are stickers in every store reminding you to stay 6 feet apart from everyone.

We had a ZOOM birthday party for Joe!

Chewy has learned that he can fit through our fence.
We tried putting a pool noodle in front to stop him, but he figured that out pretty quickly.

Another one of Harper's assignments--
she had to make a fort and take the measurements to figure out the area.

Rylan is learning the theme of the movie UP on his saxophone.

And Presley was accepted into the Running Start college program for fall.

And more favorite memes:

The Tiger King funnies keep coming!

Seriously!
