Mother's Day: 5/10/20

The kids made me breakfast this morning.
Logan is explaining their breakfast creation, Ry is holding my banana, and Presley has left to buy me a coffee.

We went swimming this morning.
And Dave had to drive to Montana for work and he left about noon.

Tricia suggested a Mother's Day Zoom and Cristy set it all up for us.
While on the Zoom call, Dave texted that they had stopped for gas in Kellogg.
It was another small way to connect us to Grandma Berries today.

Because Dave was going to be gone on Sunday, we went to visit Grandma and Papa Nelson in Waterville on Saturday.
They've been doing a good job of sheltering in place.

Presley made me a wonderful tasting cake today.
She melted down a green jolly rancher to create the edible leaves on the flowers.

And because no Mom should cook on Mother's Day, the kids placed an online order at Olive Garden and went to pick it up.
Presley texted me the car line to pick up your order curbside.

We ate outdoors.
The table top fire pit was one of my Mother's Day gifts.

We were missing Dave's long arm for the selfie, but Logan did a great job too.
Moms should also never have to pick up dog poop on their Mother's Day evening walk so Harper took charge of that this evening :).

Harper had a Mother's Day assignment on her google classroom this week.

I texted this out to our family group chat :).
