Back to back fun week-ends!

On June 2nd, Dave and Rylan travelled to Yakima to play in the Yak-Attack tournament.
It's a 4 on 4 fun tourney, and we have never put together a team to play in it.

Rylan played in Goalie Wars too.
Dave texted with Logan and was teasing him about Rylan winning it, but he didn't.

Rylan did score the penalty goal that sent them into the final game.
They lost 4-3, and took 2nd place!

With Ry out of town, Logan pleaded with Harper and Presley to train with him,

On Sunday, June 10th, Presley, Harper and I drove to Kennewick to celebrate spring birthdays!
It was a little windy, but Harper had fun swimming and going down the slide.

Look at Papa's face as baby Finn walks towards him....LOVE!
Lincoln helped me blow out my 44 candles today.
And our family's matching birthday buddies.
Lincoln and Dad share May 31st birthdays.
Finn and Grandma share July 5th birthdays.

The all district arts festival was on May 23rd.
It was so hot in the high school gym and we were up so high.
We were able to spot Presley though.

Rylan's final district strings concert was the following night, May 24th
It was held in the much cooler auditorium.
There early and ready to tune up.

And walking out.
He has signed up to play saxophone at Foothills.

Presley had her final Foothills Middle School choir concert on May 30th.
The class got to choose one song to sing and their teachers chose one.
The 8th graders did a phenomenal job of Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror".
Mrs. Richmond has loved Presley the last 3 years!
A group of them went out to Dairy Queen for a treat after their concert.

Memorial Week-End

It was a beautiful week-end at home for us.
We weren't sure how well Logan would be feeling and we were thankful for that extra day of rest and recovery.

We went to see the new Han Solo movie.

On Saturday, Joe, Lanae, Cristy, Dan and Laurie and Mathew came to watch Mathew play baseball in Wenatchee.
Ry had a soccer game and then I came over to the baseball field and got to see Mathew pitch for a few innings.

Rylan had a playdate,
and they swam for a while.

Dave bought a dolphin floatie and they named it Little Debi the Dolphin.

The kids rode bikes down to the retention pond (the same area they sledded and "skied" on 5 months ago).
We let Logan take the doors off his jeep and he took them for a ride.
Rylan said it was like being on the Disney ride, "Indiana Jones".

The kids played Roblox on their computers.

We watched the Cavaliers defeat the Celtics in game 7 of the Eastern Conference Championships
(The Cavs would be swept by the Golden State Warriors in the finals).

Presley made us a red, white, and blue cake to end the Memorial week-end.
