Our Life in Quarantine Part 3

Lots of family time, talk of essential vs. non-essential workers and businesses,  lots of recognition for frontline workers. and sadly, the politicalization of COVID-19 and when and how to re-start the economy (Washington State/Govenor Inslee have introduced a four part phase-in plan)

Social Distancing is enforced/encouraged everywhere you go!

Sports:
We are desperate to watch any kind of sporting event right now.  The Summer Olympics have been cancelled, and the NBA and MLB is postponed, As a matter of fact, we watched Logan's Moses Lake soccer game from last year on the local channel (they're re-playing former games from all sports and all of the community's high schools).
We watched the Virtual NFL Football Draft.
We watched the 1995 Mariners vs. Yankees Baseball game (Amy texted it out that it was on).
And we tune in every week for Michael Jordan's "The Last Dance" documentary.

All of the elementary schools playgrounds are either locked OR worse, wrapped in yellow Do Not Enter tape.

The Wenatchee Valley College's basketball courts.

Amy sent Logan a 2020 Senior Quarantine shirt.
Amy posted about her 2 Senior athlete nephews.

WHS cheerleaders made special deliveries to the spring athletes

I had to re-join Facebook for a couple reasons.
1.  Lots of graduation information was being posted there.
2.  Harper's friends like to chat over Facebook Messenger Kids.

It was Teacher Appreciation Week in early May.
Harper painted a sign for art one Sunday and we hung it for the week.
And we dropped off Chipotle for her teacher and family.

Schoolwork continued...
Rylan listened to author Dan Geimenhart (The Honest Truth, Good Dog, and a former colleague of Cristy's)
I went to check on Ry late one night and he was up in bed, with his lamp on, reading a magazine.

Presley's basketball coaches held a virtual banquet.
Her teammates voted her Most Improved Player.

Family Time:  Games, Swimming, Walks,  and Barbershop

Driving home from an evening walk.  He loves the open window.

Trying to get Chewy close to the water.

And Memes...
