Buddy, our Elf on the Shelf, arrived on Friday, December 1st.
The kids didn't have school this day, so it worked out perfectly to read the story on Thursday night.
They (well, Ry and Harper) were happy to wake up to Buddy's little gifts and doughnuts!
Harper read the story to the kids.
I think Logan's body language is speaking volumes!
Harper wrote Buddy a little note and he wrote her back.
She's done this twice so far this month, and is always so excited to get a response.
but he does leave a small gift to welcome the Christmas season.
This year, he left pretty trees and twinkly lights for the kids' bedroom and an advent calendar for the month.
Our Buddy just moves in the night, he doesn't hang from the ceiling or create messes, or make flour snow angels. He's a simple elf, but were always excited to have kick off our holiday season.
