Friday was black and orange day at school for Logan and Presley.
And it was Harvest party day for Rylan and Harper.
I got to help out in Ry's class during their craft project.
Between three soccer schedules, two traveling teams, vocal lessons, and Little Mermaid play practice, our opportunities to get to Smallwoods this year were few and far between.
So, Friday, after school we went.
In the pouring rain.
And we were the only ones there.
We got there and this is just about what was left of their pumpkin selection.
Note to self: Don't wait until 4:00 on October 30th for pumpkins.
We started off inside the store and the kids each got a quarter to make the hen lay an egg.
We decided to brave the rain and headed outside to do the prop maze.
Harper made it out first.
(Logan let her win)
Rylan made his way through.
And we sent these three back in to help a very lost Presley.
Finally, she made it out but then Ry got stuck.
These three tried to direct him out.
Finally!! We were all soaked.
Ry really wanted to feed the animals but wet animal smell did not appeal to me so I told him we'd come back in November sometime.
So we opted for some hot cider.
We drove down the road towards Leavenworth and ended up at a fruit stand that had lots of pumpkins outside. That's where we ended up buying ours.
We made it back home in time to order Dominoes and get Logan to the last Wenatchee High football game.
I did get a few cute texts this night too...
Miryn got to dress up for school today.

What a fun day with some sweet pumpkins!!
