Super-Sized Weekend

Logan and  Presley both had home games vs. Eisenhower on Friday night at the same time.
We were lucky because Presley's game started a little early, and Logan's game started a little late.
We watched Presley play and then got to see most of Logan's game too.
Presley's freshman team won, and she started and had 6 points.
Logan played about 8 minutes of this game, mostly in the second half when they were up by quite a bit.
He had 3 points.

Logan running the court.

They both had practice on Saturday morning, but did not have a game.

Which was lucky for us because Rylan played in a local tournament.

His first game (of 3 today) was at 8:30 in the morning vs. Cashmere.
They lost to Cashmere today.
His next game wasn't until 4:30.
Harper had a birthday party that started at 11:30.

And Presley and I had tickets to go see Dear Evan Hansen at the Seattle Paramount at 2:00.
We watched Ry's first game, and then drove to Seattle.
We had pretty good seats.
Presley and I really liked the show.
And it was nice to spend a day with her.

Rylan's last game was at 8:30.
Presley stopped in a long merchandise line for a Dear Evan Hansen shirt and poster, and we just made it back in time to watch Ry's team win vs. Cascade.
(They lost the 4:30 game against District 90)

Miryn got to go to the Father/Daughter Dance in the Tri-Cities.
Papa was doing the music for that.

This picture popped up in Amy's timeline from 5 years ago.

And Amy texted a picture of Mylee at her "Netflix" themed school dance.
She dressed up as Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy.

Ry had a game on Sunday morning (if they won they would have been in the championship), but they lost by 2.  Ry played great this game.
He has to work really hard at guarding taller players like this, and we just remind him the same way we reminded Logan at that age, "just wait, you'll be one of the tallest out there in a couple years".

Sunday was also the Super Bowl game, Patriots vs. Rams.

But first, The Puppy Bowl

I won 3 quarters and Presley won one.
Not the most "light it up" offensive game, but the Patriots did win 13-3.

This makes the Patriots tied with the Steelers for the all time most Super Bowl wins (6).

And a couple of random pictures from the week-end...
Amy texted this out on our group text.

Harper and her great friend at the basketball game.

Papa Berries is working on building a ship.
Papa texted me this picture.

I was plugging in Rylan's IPod to be charged for the night and laughed at his recommended YouTube viewing..."11 year old Boy Crochets 5 Hours a Day".

Many years ago Dave created himself as a basketball player on his Xbox game.
It was state of the art technology where the Xbox would scan your face and create a likeness of you so that you could play the game as yourself as an NBA player.
I remember when Dave did this, he had to hold real still for a long time and let the camera scan all the angles of his face.
This is what Xbox created for Dave all those years ago, and it's the funniest picture/story for our family.
Once in a while, Dave will randomly text this out on our family group text and it makes us laugh every. single. time!
