We had to come back home on the night of December 30th because both Presley and Logan had basketball practice on the 31st.
Logan also had his flying lesson at noon on the 31st.
Dave took him out there and was very impressed with how much the instructor allowed Logan to do.
He did all the pre-flight check off list, took off, and made some turns while in the flight.
The instructor took over for the landing.
Dave sat in the back seat of this small plane and sent me videos.
They flew over our house.
We're just to the right of the middle, you can see the gray pool cover and the soccer goal just barely.
Dave texted me they were headed our way so we ran out to the porch to try to catch a glimpse of them.
Small black dot in the sky....that's them!
Back at home...
Ry and Harper unloaded the presents from the back of my car.
Harper cried last night on the way home because she thought we had forgotten her sleeping mask.
She found it while unloading.
Ry played with his new mini-drone.
The drone is almost on his head.
He also annoyed these two with his drone flying skills.
You can see it coming in toward Presley.
Dave got back home from Logan's flight and took Ry out to shoot his BB gun.
Presley gave Dad a face mask.
We watched the New Year's Eve special and waited for the ball to drop.

Logan's friend came to celebrate NYE with him.
