Logan FaceTimed Ry this morning

Ry had a basketball practice with 2 of his Wenatchee friends with Jared, who was so sweet and brought him a pair of his old Jordan basketball shoes. 

They practiced at the high school so afterwards I took him to the back parking lot and let him drive for the first time.  He'll start driver's training in May. 

We came home, Ry showered, and then Harper got home from volleyball practice. 

Ry requested Olive Garden so we picked that up and opened presents and had cake and ice cream. 

And Miryn called to wish him happy birthday while he laid the rest of the night on the couch.

Presley's pageant night ended perfectly--An Apple Blossom Princess

Day 51, Sunday, February 20th

Logan FaceTimed with Presley after staying up til 1 AM to watch the ending of the pageant.  

He asked her if she had taken her crown off and Presley told him she had slept in it.

Presley's first official duties--a day of radio and TV interviews

Rylan starts soccer next week and may try out for goalie. 

He's wearing Logan's old jersey and shoes.

The Lions Club Luncheon for the Apple Blossom Royalty and their parents. 

I didn't have a picture with them and the emcees from pageant night so I got one today. 

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 7

 Day 43, Saturday, February 12th

Harper had her last 6th grade jamboree today (yes, they held them on two Saturday's this year). 

Harper loved Mr. Blauman.  

All of the kids had him for math.

Day 44, Sunday, February 13th

Two of us were watching the game, One was just here for the snack and the money because she was our lucky, big winner. 

Day 45, Monday, February 14th

Valentine's today.  She was the only one who wore a holiday shirt. 

Day 46, Tuesday, February 15th

Ry wanted a picture to text to Logan. 

He can do 2 pull ups. 

Day 47, Wednesday, February 16th

Harper got a little Valentine's bag and she blew bubbles tonight. 

Day 48, Thursday, February 17th

Presley was finally accepted into her number one college choice. 

She applied months ago, but Gonzaga doesn't offer early admissions so she's been patiently waiting for this acceptance. 

Day 49, Friday, February 18th

Grandma and Papa Kreider sent her flowers the day before the pageant.

We had 1/2 a cake for Logan's half birthday. 

We texted him this picture.

Another Harper volleyball day tournament in Chelan. 

I'm seeing so much improvement in her skills and the teams' skills. Its a lot of fun to watch that growth!

Day 38,  Monday, February 7th

Cuddled in Harper's bed together, watching funny videos.

Harper brought a cookie home from basketball practice and labeled it for Dave. 

No-one would admit to taking a couple of bites from it tho.

Presley made the President's List at Wenatchee Valley College with a perfect 4.0.

Lea's Day-Leas, Week 5 (2022)

Presley needed a formal gown for pageant night so she had fun trying on a few selections. 

This is not the one she decided on, but she did find hers today. 

Day 30, Sunday, January 30th

Harper had her first volleyball day tournament in Leavenworth

Her team won the consolation bracket. 

I'm happy she's doing something that she's enjoying and with some great friends too. 

Day 31, Monday, January 31st

Ry in his short sweats getting the mail for me. 

Logan passed these on to him and he wears them a lot.

One of Ry's last basketball games.

Harper's been sick this week so the school nurse recommended that she get a COVID test. 

It was negative, so I guess its possible to just have an icky cold in the middle of winter.

Papa, Grandma, and Amy came to watch Ry play in Quincy.

Dave brought me a coffee today and the workers marked mine :)

Harper Basketball (6th grade, Rec League)

Harper had a great rec league season. 

She hadn't played since 4th grade (nearly 2 years ago), so it was really fun to watch her score and learn and practice some fundamentals.  She had a great coach!

Miryn also played rec league basketball.  I heard she was a great defender.

When Miryn called to talk to Ry on his birthday, she wanted to talk all things basketball with him.
