Leap Day Week-End

2020 is a Leap Year, and the leap day ended up being a Saturday.
And because Logan's basketball season ended, we had one free week-end between basketball and soccer starting!
So, late plans were set, and we ended up at the Great Wolf Lodge for Friday evening and Saturday,  with our planned Frozen Broadway show in Seattle on Sunday.
Even better, I was able to get Sounders tickets for the boys on Sunday too!
We surprised the kids with this on Rylan's birthday.

We had originally planned to leave on Friday after lunch, but we received notice that Harper won Student of the Month (a surprise to her), and the assembly wasn't until 2 in the afternoon.
So we left right after school.
She spotted us and knew she was being honored this month.
Getting called up.

We left after school, stopped to eat dinner, and arrived in Grand Mound at about 8:30.
The water park closes at 9 so we spent that evening at the arcade.
They turned their tickets in for some fun prizes.
It didn't take us long to realize the need for the Santizer Station!
It was a busy and full Great Wolf Lodge this weekend.

The next morning we had the buffet breakfast and then went straight to the water park.
We spent the day there!
And ice-cream cone at 9 AM.
We teased Logan that he could certainly get a job at DQ.
They hit the wave pool first.
I tried to follow them for a bit but they were off riding slides together, in partners, playing basketball, doing the ropes course, and getting drenched by the big bucket of water.

Logan dunking on Dave

I was following Ry for a minute and these four tried to spray me!

Harper right before the big bucket dropped down on her!

We had lunch in the park, relaxed in the hot tub, and eventually headed back to the room to get ready for some dinner and other activities.
That night we played Glow in the Dark golf.
We did some mining.

Harper spent her own money at the Build A Bear Workshop

We had about an hour left before the water park closed, and Harper wanted to do a few more slides so I took her back in and Dave took the others to the arcade again.
That little pink swimsuit carrying her own tube up for the big waterslide.
I've hit that sweet spot that I could just sit back and wait and watch for her to come back down.

Harper getting dumped on again by the big bucket of water.

I don't know what this was all about!
Presley had enough tickets from the arcade to buy this table top pool set so they played while the kids showered.

We left Sunday morning to head to Seattle for Frozen with the Nihill's and the Sounders game.

Lots of Princess Elsa's at the show today.

The Sounders won their home opener today :)
