Pumpkin Carving

The kids carved their pumpkins on Monday, October 29th.

 a jack o' lantern, a spider, a mean jack o'lantern, and a ghost. 

Presley wanted to have some friends over on Tuesday, the 30th to carve pumpkins. 

There was no school for us (for conferences) on the 31st, 1st or 2nd. 

They made some snacks and went downstairs to watch Hotel Transylvania 3. 

2018 Smallwoods Visit

The pumpkins outside of Safeway and Fred Meyer were so tempting this year, but Presley asked when we could go to Smallwoods so we made quick trip on the Sunday after homecoming. 

Harper even got to invite a friend. 

Rylan had his last soccer game at 3 that afternoon, so we had to put a time limit on things. 

And Logan wasn't awake from getting home so late Homecoming night. 

Heading into the maze. 

It was Kate and Harper vs. Rylan and Presley

Harper and Kate were the winners. 

Poor Ry had to go back in to find his lost partner. 

The apple targets were open. 

Front flips on the trampoline. 

And the highlight of the day was riding the cow train. 

We went to feed the animals too. 

And we picked out pumpkins and bought some snacks from their store. 

Homecoming for Logan

I wish I had a lot of good details to add about Logan's homecoming dance, but I don't. 

Presley's group was coming over at the same time as Logan's group was meeting for pictures. 

I texted a couple of the other moms earlier in the day and they were so kind to send me pictures. 

Logan asked Kaylee in mid-October. 

The first thing he told me about her was "she's very short". 

He did text me this picture, asking me which flowers he should pick up for her before he went to her track training to ask her. 

As he left our house. 

Presley wasn't quite ready so I don't have a picture of them together. 

Harper had a friend over as he was leaving. 

Presley did tell me she saw him at the dance in the middle of a big circle dancing.  

I don't know what profession Logan will end up in, but I think he has some negotiation skills.
