Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 17 (2018)

Day 113, Monday, April 23rd
The "What People Make" edition of the Parade Magazine came on Sunday and Logan looked it over today.  He's now leaning toward becoming a rock star, and not a coffee barista :).

Day 114, Tuesday, April 24th
Harper recognized the Apple Blossom Queen at Logan's game tonight.
She went up and sat and talked with her for the whole second half.

Day 115, Wednesday, April 25th
Presley had her vocal recital tonight.
She sang "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins.

Day 116, Thursday, April 26th
Team Dinner tonight for the Wenatchee JV squad.
We had spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and strawberry shortcake.
They ate outside and swam the rest of the time.
It was a fun fun night!

Day 117, Friday, April 27th
Logan's last game of his JV season.
They won Davis 1-0.
At the final whistle his teammates ran down to hug him and celebrate their season.

Day 118, Saturday, April 28th
Presley hosted a surprise party for her friend Ella tonight.

Day 119, Sunday, April 29th
Presley heading on to the  Apple Blossom main stage to perform Aladdin songs.

Saddlerock, Soccer and Swimming

On Friday, April 20th, Dave volunteered to go on Rylan's 5th grade Saddlerock field trip.

It was a beautiful day.
They had stations and activities to do along the way.

Ry and his good friend.

Ry and some of the girls from his class.

After the hike Dave and Ry drove to Spokane for the qualifying week-end for Washington cup.
Ry's team won on Friday, but then lost on Saturday and Sunday.
They didn't have enough points to qualify for the Washington Cup.
Ry played well all week-end long though.

They stopped at Barnes and Noble and Ry picked out a new series to read (not this book).

Dave texted me from the Black Angus.

Back at home the kids decided that 70 degrees outside, but 82 degrees in the water was warm enough to go for a first swim.
It looks like Logan was officially the first one in the pool this year.

They swam for a long time today.

And on Sunday when Rylan made it back home, they all went in.

It's hard to not have summer on our minds!

Kreiders take Seattle

On Friday, April 20th, the 5 Kreiders spent a full day touring Seattle.

I met them in Cle Elum and then we drove the rest of the way together.

We started out in the Fremont area with a tour of the chocolate factory, Theo's.

Then we drove to downtown Seattle for our Seattle Bites food tour.
We met at the Seattle Art Museum and walked to the Pike Place Market.
Our guide Chip led us through the market and we stopped at 8 different vendors for taste testing.

I think flower row was my favorite.
We walked back here and Dad bought us all flowers.

Our final stop was the 2nd germiest place in the world...The Gum Wall
(1st place is the Blarney Stone in Ireland)
Our guide gave us each a piece of gum to chew up and add to the wall.

Our final activity was an Escape Room in downtown Seattle.
We did not make it out!
The three in the middle were not very helpful at all!

We made a quick stop at Trader Joe's and I got back home about 10:30.
Harper was already in bed but she left me a note...

No doubt...I circled good with a bright red pen!

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 16 (2018)

Day 106, Monday, April 16th
Some days we have the best talks alone in the car and other days I watch her make Musically videos over and over.

Day 107, Tuesday, April 17th
Presley showed Harper how to show different shades of lip glosses.

Day 108, Wednesday, April 18th
Our first dinner outside this spring.

Day 109, Thursday, April 19th
Yay...Riddles at bedtime...this shouldn't take long at all.

Day 110, Friday, April 20th
Our day in Seattle

Day 111, Saturday, April 21st
Our first plunge this year...the water was 82 degrees.
Harper jumped in too a short while later.

Day 112, Sunday, April 22nd
Ry had been in Spokane all week-end so this was his first cannon ball this year.
It wasn't quite warm enough for him, he only stayed in for a few minutes.

Spring Break 2018

We had a wonderful spring break even though we were missing Dave and Presley.

On Monday, April 2nd we ate our dinner while watching the NCAA championship game.
Villanova won Michigan this year.

We played Chubby Bunny while stuffing our mouth full of marshmallows.

We face-timed with Presley every day.

Rylan and Harper participated in a 4 day hiking/adventure camp.
They both really enjoyed it and made a new friend.

Harper also did a 3 day soccer camp at Wenatchee Valley College.

We went out for a FroYo treat.

Harper watched Rylan's soccer practice from the open sunroof.

Logan helped Harper with her dance routines.
I took Logan out to breakfast at the Wild Huckleberry while Ry and Harper were at hiking camp.

Logan had 2 soccer games over spring break.
He played Davis there and won 4-0, and played Pasco at home and won 3-2.

On Thursday, Logan drove us in his jeep to the Tri-Cities.

Mylee and Logan wanted car pictures together (like Alyson did with her cousin).

We invited Papa Berries to get a couple pictures too because they're both driving jeeps right now.
He didn't know that Logan had a jeep and when we drove up, he told Logan, "You know I have two cars."  (Papa kept his Subaru too).   So witty!

We met up with Miryn and swam at Papa's pool.
Logan choo-choo'ed all around the pool.

I came up on Friday and they were playing Sequence.

We went to the mall and I bought them some Korean rice ice????? that was served in dry ice.

Grandma and I took you to the trampoline park

We visited Tricia, Lincoln, and Finn

Dad and Presley made it home about 2 AM on Saturday morning.
\
Harper and Ry were so excited to see P!
And they all received little souvenirs from her trip.
