Easter: Sunday, April 16th

I invited everyone up to Wenatchee for Easter this year, and a few people were able to make it.

My mom brought a turkey and we had salads, rolls and some side dishes for an easy lunch.

On Saturday night we colored Easter eggs.

The kids did a great job this year.
They turned out so bright and colorful.

I texted my mom that we were coloring eggs and they were doing the same thing at Samee's house.

We woke up on Sunday morning and found our baskets filled.

We had bunny pancakes for breakfast.

Grandma, Papa, Papa Berries, Samee, Nate, and Miryn came over about 1:30.

It was fun to look for eggs with Miryn.
The big kids helped her find them, even when she wanted to take a trampoline jumping break.
They were searching for the Golden Egg here.
Little Miryn was standing right on top of it!
But it was Harper who dug it up.
Yay for the money in the Golden Egg!

Logan was cute jumping with Miryn.
Papa brought his drone to fly.
Logan did fly it into our deck glass, and broke one of the propellers.

Spring Break Week

We were all ready for a good Spring Break,
I wish the weather would have cooperated a little better, but we did have some good times.

The week started with a friend sleepover for Presley.

Monday was the National Basketball Championship game.
It ended up being North Carolina vs. Gonzaga

My mom texted me this picture of Papa...I guess we knew who he was rooting for.
Dave and I watched on the big screen.
But it wasn't very fun to watch at all.  Gonzaga lost.
And it was Presley who won our family bracket.
She had North Carolina and Gonzaga to the championship.

Tuesday was semi-nice so the kids jumped on the trampoline, tossed the frisbee around, did a few chores, and Ry went bowling with a friend.

Logan's Cobras team also received some good news that they have been invited to the National Tournament in July.  This invite came because they won their league and they won the Washington State Cup for their age bracket.

On Wednesday Logan had a game against Pasco so the kids and I drove there to watch the game and visit.  He played goalie for the first half and had one good save.  He played on the field in the 2nd half, and even got a header.
He had so much family there and we yelled his name and he waved at us at the start of the game.
Logan was taking forever to come out so I took a picture without him.
Squeezing down on Harper while we waited for Logan.

We went to Grandma and Papa's for dinner and Samee, Nate, and Miryn met us over there.

Alyson and Amy were going on a college scouting trip so we took Mylee to spend the next few days with us.
We drove home that night and got Mylee all tucked into Harper's room.

Mylee likes to take an 11:11 picture.

Harper read to Mylee as they ate lunch.
We played a little Rummikub that night before bed.
We did a little pottery painting at Inspirations Ceramics.
Harper was there too, I was helping her.

We went to see the movie Boss Baby.
A new rock climbing place opened recently in Wenatchee and the kids really wanted to go.
So we gave it a try on Friday.
Rylan free climbing

There are areas of free climb and then other areas where we you are harnessed in.
Presley and Harper made it all the way to the top in this area.

Logan almost made it all the way.
Rylan in the harness in a different area.

Mylee looked official in her harness, but I don't think she ever tried to climb the wall.
You had to buy a whole day's pass and the kids' hands started to hurt after about an hour and a half.
Dave brought them back down in the evening for another hour.

Amy and Alyson drove to Wenatchee on Saturday and was able to watch Ry play his last home game.
Then they came over for lunch and to hang out a little bit before heading back home.

On Sunday we relaxed and played and got ready to head back to school on Monday.
