Father's Day (Sunday, June 16th)

A slow morning.

Harper can still be tossed by Dad!

Grandma and Papa Nelson came over for swimming and Dad BBQ'ed for us.
Logan was in Montana for a basketball tourney this week-end.

Miryn and Lincoln had fun together at Joe and Lanae's pool today.
And grandma was happy to see a sleeping Arthur today.

Last Day of School (June 13th and June 14th)

Logan and Presley are officially a Senior and Sophomore.
Their last day of school was Thursday, June 13th.
(Well, they had to go to school on Friday if they had a final or late homework to turn in.  Logan did go to return some overdue library books)

6 hours away from being a Senior!
Rylan photobombing!

This might be the last day they'll drive to school together.

And Ry and Harper's last day was on June 14th.
(The older kids were not waking up early to take a pic)

June 13th drop offs...

Hoping for a magical, unforgettable summer but also trying to be enjoy the simple things like patio dinners, warm, late nights, runs for ice cream, pool noodle wars, yard Yahtzee, bike rides, play dates, and sleep overs in each other's rooms.

The Last Few Days of School

Lots of little "extras" at the end of the school year.

Presley and Harper went to see the Stage Kids production of James and the Giant Peach.

Harper started basketball practice at the high school.  It should run through mid-July.

Presley and her teammates played in a local tournament and won!

And Presley was asked to swing up and play on the Varsity team too.

Dave and I went to get pedicures.
His feet were just about as long as the worker's arms.

Ry had his final band concert for 6th grade.

During this concert, Rylan was given his baton to be next year's Drum Major.
He was nominated by his classmates (3 total were nominated), had to make a speech, and then was voted on to be the 7th grade parade marching band drum major.

I looked over and saw Ry's tennis shoes looking like this!
He wanted to make this one pair last the whole school year.

Ry and his friend spent a night at Lake Chelan. They went canoeing.

Harper had her 3rd grade field trip to Rotary Park.

Harper had a parent presentation of "coding" they did this year.

Dave sent out a message on Logan's soccer team group chat to the boys who graduated.

Dave took a private plane to Philadelphia.

Rylan was in the FMS Talent Show.

We giggled at National Turtle Day on our family group text!

We had the boys' shower/bath combo removed for a bigger stand-in shower.

And Miryn showed off her missing 2 teeth.
