The Nihill's and Grandma stopped in Wenatchee and had lunch with Logan.

Day 173, Thursday, June 22nd

Our tour of the Colosseum, Rome, Italy.

Day 174, Friday, June 23rd

Getting home the longest way possible.
Our flight was cancelled this morning.
It was supposed to be a short flight from Rome to Paris and then a direct flight from Paris to Seattle.

We ended up going from Rome to New York, and then New York to Seattle.
Except Presley wasn't on the same flight.  She went from Rome to Atlanta and then Atlanta to Seattle.

It was a very long travel day for all of us!

Day 175, Saturday, June 24th

Big hugs for Logan.
We missed him!

(With her note that says I'll be picking her up at noon today)

Rylan left for his last day of school before I could grab a picture of him.
We picked him up early to leave for the airport so we took a quick picture in the parking lot.
(Logan drove with us to the high school and drove Ry's truck back home).

It wasn't the official last day of school for either one.
Harper's school didn't end until Thursday, June 15th.
Rylan's last day was Wednesday, June 14th.

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 23 (2023)

 Day 155, Sunday, June 4th

After a couple of long days in the sun watching basketball and beach volleyball, we had cake and ice cream to celebrate my birthday.

Day 156, Monday, June 5th

These three and their funny videos.
Love seeing them laugh together.

Day 157, Tuesday, June 6th

Dave training with Logan.
This doesn't happen too often anymore so it's a real treat to see it when it does.
You can see Logan got the save on this kick from Dave.

Day 158, Wednesday, June 7th

It was Dress Up as Country or Country Club today at school.
She was going for the preppy country club look.

Day 159, Thursday, June 8th

Harper had an after school volleyball camp at WHS.
She received two awards:  Great Setter and Great Attitude.

Day 160, Friday, June 9th

A sweet text from Presley today.

Day 161, Saturday, June 10th

Ry and his friend at his basketball tournament in Ephrata.
He had some great games.
They didn't win the championship, but they won a few games and are playing well together as a team.
He's doing so well!

A "B" Week-End

 BASKETBALL

Ry had a 3 on 3 basketball tournament in Quincy.

They didn't win the championship, but they won a lot of their games and Ry played well.

One of his old trainers, Jared, was a volunteer and came to talk to Ry.

Ry picked us up Chipotle for dinner.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Harper and I went to watch the Stage Kids production of Beauty and the Beast

BEACH VOLLEYBALL

Harper played in her first beach volleyball tournament in Lake Chelan.
She played with an old teammate of hers from her indoor season.
It was a lot of fun to watch!  Harper did great.  I was so impressed with how she dove for the ball and ran in the sand.

After their morning pool play, they were placed in the gold division of this tournament.
They placed 6th out of 20 teams!

Logan, Dad, Rylan, and Emory sat and watched along the sidelines.

BIRTHDAY

We celebrated my 49th birthday too! Whew!

Presley sent me beautiful flowers on Friday.
She wrote me a beautiful card too.

She FaceTimed me from the Amsterdam Airport, while I was in the car headed to Lake Chelan
We went for a walk along the lake while Harper was waiting for her turn to play.
It was a little windy and chilly this morning at 8 AM.

Logan ordered and picked up my cake.

What a fun and full weekend!

Day 151, Wednesday, May 31st

Amy posted this picture of Papa for his birthday and we were all pretty impressed with his flowy hair and that bicep!
When I showed Ry, he said he thought he was pretty close in bicep size.

Day 152, Thursday, June 1st

Night of the Notables for Foothills 7th graders tonight.
Harper was Princess Diana

I couldn't find pictures but I know that Logan was Steve Jobs, Presley was Anne Frank, and Ry's year was canceled because of Covid.

Day 153, Friday, June 2nd

Presley pre-planned a flower delivery for today prior to her leaving for London.
She wrote the most lovely letter to me.

Day 154, Saturday, June 3rd

Ry had a 3 on 3 basketball tournament today in Quincy.
I didn't want to cook when we finally made it home, so Ry went and picked up Chipotle.
(Harper and I were on our way to Old Navy to look for matching tank tops for her and her beach volleyball teammate tomorrow).
