Ry played in a basketball tournament in Vancouver. 

They went 2-2 and he played pretty well.

Ry and I got home late from his tournament but just in time to say goodnight to these 3.

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend in Ocean Shores.

Not our typical Easter picture, but we were able to hunt for eggs this morning.

Ry had a game today vs. Omak. 

They won.

The Apple Blossom souvenir issue was released today.

Presley missed the exaggerated "walk" :)

They were delivering official Apple Blossom framed photos to businesses.

Presley came home and found Chewy like this.

Rylan was in a basketball tournament this weekend and they had some snow on the passes as they drove home.  

Day 101, Monday, April 11th

Presley had an Apple Blossom luncheon today for retired teachers and Grandma was the "plus one" for a former teacher and former client.  Presley was so surprised to see Grandma there. 

Day 102, Tuesday, April 12th

We got a little bit of snow--so odd to see this in April.

The pink flower blooms looked so pretty with the dusting of white. 

Day 103, Wednesday, April 13th

You can't really tell that's Presley but I love the way this little girl is so excited to get to talk to an Apple Blossom princess. 

Visiting the elementary schools has been one of Presley's favorite parts leading up to the Apple Blossom Festival.

WHAT?   A school closure in mid-April when we received about 6 inches of new snow over night!

 Day 92, Saturday, April 2nd

Harper played in the Pacific Northwest Qualifier in Spokane this weekend. 

Day 93, Sunday, April 3rd

Day 94, Monday, April 4th

Kansas won the NCAA Basketball Championship, making Harper the official winner of the Nelsons brackets!

None of us did particularly well this year but she did win it!

Day 95, Tuesday, April 5th

Day 96, Wednesday, April 6th

Ry's soccer practice today was a hike in Cashmere. 

His coach beat them all! 

Day 97, Thursday, April 7th

Presley and Harper went for their own hike today.

We had a pretty warm spring break. 

Day 98, Friday, April 8th

Presley and I went to Spokane for 2 days. 

We spent Friday shopping for homecoming dresses and Saturday for the Gonzaga Welcome Experience for incoming freshman.  

A sports and birthday weekend

 We spent the first weekend of spring break dividing and conquering the sports schedules. 

Harper's last volleyball tournament for her team was March 5ht-6th, but the other group had one more tournament.  A couple of their players were going to be gone so Harper's coach recommended her as one to fit in with the other group.  So we headed to Spokane for the weekend.  It was a big tournament held at the Spokane Convention Center.  She didn't get much playing time, but was a great teammate and made some new friends. 

She got out of school early on Friday to head to Spokane.  The first game was at 4:00. 

There were 3 matches on Friday and she didn't play at all. 

But she did get in a tiny bit on Saturday and she did just fine.

Meanwhile, back in Cashmere on Friday night, Ry got his first Varsity goal! 

So exciting for him!!!

Ry didn't have a game on Saturday but Harper and I were still in Spokane. 

Ry did have basketball practice in yakima on Sunday so Dave, Ry, Presley, and Chewy went to that and then drove to the Tri-Cities. 

Harper and I finished her tournament and met them at Grandma's house for dinner and to celebrate birthdays.

We laughed because Ry and Amy were able to use the same candles (15 and 51) this year.

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 13 (2022)

 Day 85, Saturday, March 26th

Ry got three goals today against Brewster. 

He played JV goalie for a half and then played JV forward. 

I was so happy to see him on the field a little bit. 

Day 86, Sunday, March 27th

Rylan had a basketball practice in Yakima so Harper joined me and I took her to the trampoline park for an hour. 

Day 87, Monday, March 28th

Dave made it to Pittsburgh today and had to drive the 2 hours to Buckhannon in the snow. 

He picked up Logan for lunch this afternoon. 

Day 88, Tuesday, March 29th

Harper got her braces on today.  

Day 89, Wednesday, March 30th

Harper had her final swim meet today. 

She took 8th overall in her freestyle race and 5th overall in the breaststroke. 

Day 90, Thursday, March 31st

I didn't tell Dave that she had her braces put on while he was out of town, so she smiled at him when she saw him tonight. 

Day 91, Friday, April 1st

Ry got his first Varsity goal tonight vs. La Salle. 

He's celebrating here, this was posted on Instagram.
