Ry's THIRTEENTH Birthday!!

WOO HOO!  We've made it to teenager-hood 3 times over!

Ry's 13th birthday...

I went down and woke him up and told him happy birthday teenager, and in true Rylan fashion, he first asked how my back was feeling (I've had a tight back all week), and then checked his pits for some armpit hair.
He came up the stairs and Presley gave him a hug.

Then Harper followed him into the kitchen for her birthday hug.
Presley teased him that he wasn't even close to her in height.

His birthday was full of sunshine and fun!
Flashing his "I Love You" sign as I dropped him off.

After school he had a one hour basketball workout and he was finally able to scale the wall for the first time!
Maybe he'll be on the American Ninja show!

Amy texted me her text conversation with Ry from today :)

He wanted Olive Garden lasagna for dinner and then he opened presents.

He asked for mechanical pencils so he received a set.
(I don't think Presley thought too highly of this gift, but it was on his list).

And he requested white cake with chocolate filling and buttercream frosting.

We hope all your wishes come true!!

Basketball Ends and Soccer Starts!

The long season of basketball ended on Saturday night with a one point loss to Eastmont!
It was a really great game, and an emotional end to Logan's senior year of basketball.

The score was tied when an Eastmont kid was fouled and made one of two of his free throws.
There was 3.8 seconds left, just enough time for one final mid-court shot.
It was close, but didn't go in!  Game Over!
One of Logan's middle school teachers.
His son played basketball with Logan for lots of years.

Harper also had her final tournament this week-end.
They won their final game!!

And Rylan had his first soccer game of the spring season in Tukwila.
They won 6-1 and he had one PK goal.

They played a little basketball on Sunday and practiced some soccer.

We ended the night with a nice family dinner and some Table Talk.
Logan:  A good support system
Presley:  The privilege of travel

Valentine's Week-End

Valentine's Morning 2020

Logan and Presley each had their final regular season games on Friday, February 14th in Moses Lake.
We had lots of family join us.

On our way there, we listened to a Valentine's radio channel and we heard some good ole Air Supply

Logan has played against this Moses Lake Logan for lots of years.
#33 was always the biggest and strongest kid on the court in middle school.

Logan got back in with just a minute left, but based on his headband placement,  I don't think he was expecting to get any more playing time.

While we waited for Logan to come out from the locker room, they cleaned up garbage
and played on the court.

I was there too :)

Rylan wrote me a nice Valentine note.
And Harper had worked on a message for each of her classmates.
During their class party, they glued all of their personal messages together.

Dave took Presley out golfing on Saturday afternoon.
This postcard came in the mail for Rylan.

Ry had a workout and could make it up the wall, but couldn't quite lift himself to the platform.

Logan sent us a little funny meme.
He does love that comfy he bought for himself.

And Presley took Harper for a pedicure on President's Day.
