Pumpking Carving

Our yearly Halloween tradition of carving our pumpkins happened on Sunday evening.

I laughed when I saw this picture of Presley because she has such a funny look on her face.
Dave has downloaded an app that allows you to create your own meme from your picture.
He created this and then sent it to our family group text.
We laughed even harder because he forgot the "you".

All done and lit up!

Amy sent this to Samee and I.

Week-End Recap

This was my week-end to go to Portland with Grandma, Amy, and Samee.
I dropped of the kids at school, and then made my way to Kennewick.

We made it to the Troutdale outlets and had planned to meet at 4:15.
So thankful for group texts so I can let everyone know I need more time in Gap.

Rylan had a game on Saturday in Moses Lake so Dave took him there.
He was good at keeping me posted on their blow out win.

I had told Ry I was going to a two story Target.
I promised him a video to show him how the carts make it up to the 2nd level.
It takes 33 seconds for your cart to ride the escalator up.
Dave said Ry was pleased to see this, and he talked about it when I got home.

After Ry's game, they stopped by Mountain View Elementary in Quincy, where I taught 1st grade.

We were busy filling our bellies at Cheesecake Factory and our car with loads of bags!

We got back to Kennewick about 11:30.
Papa Berries came over Sunday morning for a visit and then I headed back home.

These two were excited to see me coming down the driveway.

We carved pumpkins this night to finish up the weekend.

Homecoming 2017

Logan asked his friend Phoebe to homecoming in front of the whole school.
He seemed pretty excited about going, but was also really into the whole Homecoming week events.

Tuesday night was the Buff Puff Volleyball game.
Logan was part of the sophomore Big Baller Brothers team
They lost their first two games and were out.

On Wednesday Logan's complete outfit arrived and he tried it all on.
I'm thankful it fit so well because we wouldn't have had much time to go out and shop around town.

Thursday was twins day and he and Phoebe both wore their "The Office" shirts.

Logan also had to write himself a sticky note as a reminder to buy the tickets at school.

He picked up the corsage Friday after school and brought it home and tried it on Harper.
He couldn't get over the price for that little flower.

It was a rainy Saturday.
Harper was on the lookout for Phoebe and her parents to make it.
Finally she arrived and he put her corsage on her wrist, which was so easy compared to Logan's flower.
She had a little trouble with Logan's boutonniere.
So I helped her put it on Logan.

They both looked so nice.

It was so rainy and Logan remembered to walk her out with an umbrella.

He made it home about midnight.
Logan said they had a good time, danced a lot, and went out for ice cream afterwards.
She came to his game the following afternoon.

We went out to dinner too.
Ry was a kissy sandwich.
Amy sent me Alyson's text after she saw Logan's picture.

Miss Mylee had homecoming the week-end before.
Amy and Thomas have decorated their outside play house and the group comes over and eats in there.
