Presley's 18th birthday

Presley had her senior pictures taken tonight. 

She looked beautiful and will have a lot to choose from. 

Rylan joined us upstairs for dinner tonight. 

Day 234, Sunday, August 22nd

We went to a play up at Ohme Gardens. 

Presley's friend was the baker's pregnant wife.

Day 235, Monday, August 23rd

Harper's 12th birthday 

And Logan's first day of his sophomore year. 

Day 236, Tuesday, August 24th

Harper's tour of her middle school was today. 

They're not allowing lockers right now, so I really just walked her schedule with her so she'd know where to go.

(She is a TA for one of her French teachers so she goes to the high school every other day.  She'll also be taking her Running Start classes this fall too)

Making slime and watching YouTube at the same time today. 

Harper has had a phone (calls and texts only) for a little bit, but she was allowed to get SnapChat with her family members only today. 

She spent the day snapping with Logan, Presley, and Rylan. 

Her neighbor friend came over and they did gymnastics so she changed clothes. 

We couldn't do her annual Back to School Breakfast Party so she chose breakfast for dinner tonight 

(also, Ry has lost his smell due to COVID, and couldn't smell the eggs and bacon tonight. )

Also today, Presley got her first college acceptance letter to Grand Canyon University. 

And Logan texted me this picture of his first day of his college sophomore year.

 And just like that, she's an ADULT (probably more mature and goal-oriented than most young adults).

We didn't do too much today, but we have a couple of fun things planned for this weekend for her birthday, which worked out nicely since we were officially still in lock down mode.

Ry's sweet text asking for some lunch from down in his room.

Dad and Logan toured both the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers stadiums today. 

Day 227, Sunday, August 15th

Logan was able to take Dave to his research room and greenhouse where he spent 8 weeks this summer.
