I took Presley and her friend Black Friday shopping at 5:45 AM. 

This was about 11:30 and we stopped for breakfast at Wild Huckleberry. 

Day 328, Saturday, November 24th

Presley went to a sleepover tonight and texted me this to text to her mom.

Day 329, Sunday, November 25th

Chilly one on one basketball with Harper and Rylan. 

Thanksgiving 2018

We had a very nice long Thanksgiving weekend. 

We started with an exciting Gonzaga win over Duke!

Papa sent me a before Thanksgiving set up picture.

He said they didn't sit much during the Gonzaga game!

And after they worked on setting things up for the Legard/Kreider crowd. 

Presley made crepes in French class yesterday and then repeated them again for us on Thanksgiving morning. 

We left for Waterville at about noon. 

Presley and Harper tried to snuggle with Logan.

Grandma and Papa had this picture of Dad hanging on their fridge. 

Grandma and Papa's house has a secret hidden passage. 

that takes them from upstairs to the stairway heading downstairs. 

I don't know how much longer Rylan will be able to fit in. 

Grandma and Papa Nelson made us a wonderful dinner with all the best Thanksgiving dishes. 

These two were ready to eat!

Papa bought a new cub cadet and Logan got to drive it around the back roads of Waterville. 

But it started snowing so we played pool and watched football. 

Their dog escaped out the front and they went to bring him back as the snow started to stick. 

We turned the Christmas songs on as we started home. 

It took us an extra long time to drive home. 

We stopped by this house (their lights "dance" to Christmas music)

We came home and read our Thankful notes. 

I took down our Thanksgiving decorations to put away and ran across this photograph of Logan, age 4. 

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 46 (2018)

Day 316, Monday, November 12th

Logan announced he hasn't shaved all month...that's 12 full days. 

You might have to zoom in to see that manly stubble!

Day 317, Tuesday, November 13th

Early morning try outs for Presley and Logan started today. 

We had to pick up her friend on the way. 

It's about 6:45 here. 

Day 318, Wednesday, November 14th

And the next morning they had to do sprints out on the track at 7:15.  

Presley was feeling just a tad sore.  

Day 319, Thursday, November 15th

Picked up Ry today from Robotics and he played me a tune. 

Day 320, Friday, November 16th

Harper rode the bus home today and beat me home. 

She knew the code to get into the house, but sat on the porch and waited for me until I got there. 

She was probably alone for about 10 minutes. 

Day 321, Saturday, November 17th

I took Ry, Harper, and Harper's friend to see "The Grinch" this afternoon.

Presley and I had tickets to see the high school play for the evening. 

These are her friends that were cast in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying". 

Day 322, Sunday, November 18th

The Foothills Robotics team hosted a fundraiser for breakfast at Applebee's. 

He had to walk around to the tables, explain the program, and ask for donations. 

This was when he came to our table.

Day 309, Monday, November 5th

We exercised our right to vote today. 

Day 310, Tuesday, November 6th

The pool is closed, time for Christmas lights. 

I was nervous for that guy way up there!

Day 311, Wednesday, November 7th

The Foothills Middle School hosted a teacher's luncheon so I went out to say hi to Rylan during his lunch time.  

He was playing Yu-Gi-Oh cards with his friends. 

Day 312, Thursday, November 8th

Harper asked me for crimped hair today. 

Day 313, Friday, November 9th

A Friday night game at Ry's AAU round robin tourney this week-end. 

He had a great steal, but missed the lay-in.  

Day 314, Saturday, November 10th

Harper for the steal today too. 

She had 2 baskets, the only scoring for the entire game! 

Day 315, Sunday, November 11th

Ry's team went undefeated this week-end!

It was fun to see him playing basketball again.

Day 302, Monday, October 29th

Carved pumpkins tonight. 

Day 303, Tuesday, October 30th

At Harper's school harvest party and they played heads up, seven up. 

Day 304, Wednesday, October 31st

Oh Deer!  We had a Happy Halloween.

Day 305, Thursday, November 1st

We had Harper's conference today and this was her summer memories. 

Day 306, Friday, November 2nd

I went to Portland this weekend for shopping and fun. 

Day 307, Saturday, November 3rd

On our way home from Portland and we sung Christmas songs with Kenny and Dolly. 

The words came right back to us!
