 Day 22, Wednesday, January 22nd

Our power strip finally went out. 

Dave brought it up and it was labelled Mountain View Elementary, so I probably used it in my first years of teaching, approximately 25 years ago.  

It definitely lived its life.

I have to pick up Harper on the days Ry has practice right after school (the boys and girls team switch off each week)

Sometimes I'm running a little late.

This morning was senior presentations. 

We went out to breakfast after Ry was finished. 

He did great!

Day 16, Thursday, January 16th

Last day of the semester.

Day 17, Friday, January 17th

Game in Connell tonight!

Day 18, Saturday, January 18th

Home game vs. Wahluke tonight. 

I was in Lynwood tonight watching Harper's volleyball team. 

They didn't win one game today. 

Day 19, Sunday, January 19th

Ry did a shoot around practice with Dave. 

and I was still with Harper and her volleyball team. 

They won 2 out of 3 games today. 

They played at Highland College. 

Day 20, Monday, January 20th

Based on their record over the past 2 days, Harper's team was placed in the Bronze division. 

And they won that division!

Harper played awesome volleyball all weekend long. 

Day 21, Tuesday, January 21st

Harper brought home some of her art from first semester. 

This was her self portrait. 

I thought it was pretty dang good!

Ry got a nice "Star of the Week" write up.

Ry ordered some new shoes for the rest of the season.

The Varsity boys basketball team has been running their kids program "Doane's Dribblers" on Saturday mornings. 

While we were watching the girls game, I saw Ry sitting next to and talking to one of the elementary aged dribblers. 

Day 12, Sunday, January 12th

Harpers first volleyball tournament of her season. 

She had a really great tournament. 

Day 13, Monday, January 13th

Poor Ry got in a little fender bender in the school parking lot this morning. 

Someone was backing out and hit him while Ry was going past. 

The other mom called me and said "Ry was the dad in the situation"
