Day 141, Wednesday, May 21st

Day 142, Thursday, May 22nd

It was Ry's senior skip day. 

There was a big group that spent the day at Lake Chelan and then a smaller group that went out to dinner and stayed the night at a family cabin on the lake. 

Such a great group and fun time! 

Day 143, Friday, May 23rd

Ry had a doctor's appointment this afternoon. 

This might be his last time in the pediatrics building.

Day 144, Saturday, May 24th

Harper had a sleepover with her good friends tonight.

Presley and Kel went to the zoo today.

Rylans senior group made history for the athletics department.

A must-win 2-1 victory against Medical Lake today in Spokane and the soccer season continues on!

Logan texted us a picture from his seats at the Sounders game tonight. 

Day 139, Monday, May 19th

Ry earned Player of the week

Day 140, Tuesday, May 20th

The official state bus send off for Cashmere soccer. 

They played Bush High School tonight and Logan joined us to watch Ry.

This game went to two overtimes and 5 penalty kicks. 

One of our players missed their PK tonight and we lost. 

We're so thankful we got to watch Ry play soccer for one more season.

Presley and Kel came to visit for the week-end, and Harper ran out for a hug.

A must-win game in Okanogan (the #6 state ranked team) today to move on to the state tournament!

Wow!  What a win!

Went to 2 overtimes and then to penalty kicks. 

Ry had to block this final penalty kick to continue on, and then he was up to kick his own and made it!

The 8th Okanogan player hit his PK off the cross bar for the win!

The Bulldogs move on!

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 17 (2025)

 Day 113, Wednesday, April 23rd

The pool finally warmed up enough to jump in for a quick swim. 

It was up to 80 degrees, both in the pool and outside.  

Day 114, Thursday, April 24th

Ry got a haircut tonight after practice and he came in like this. 

He actually looked super cute, he was just trying to tease us. 

Day 115, Friday, April 25th

Another beautiful spring night for soccer at home. 

Day 116, Saturday, April 26th

Ry was invited for a campus tour and to work out with the Clark College basketball team today. 

Clark is in Vancouver.  

He had a really great workout and fit in very well. 

Day 117, Sunday, April 27th

From Vancouver, they drove on to Port Angeles for a tour and work out with Peninsula College. 

He loved this campus and coach. 

Day 118, Monday, April 28th

I was giddy to receive jury summons today!

I sent this out on our family group text that I hoped I get selected. 

Lots of teasing about me being a juror.

Day 119, Tuesday, April 29th

A great win tonight vs. Highland (Cowiche)  in the wind!  

Easter Weekend

Rys soccer team had an outstanding game vs. White Swan tonight.  

Ry played just a short time in goal, and then played forward. 

He even got one of the goals tonight. 

We thought Logan might make it to the game, and he did, showing up in the scrubs he wore at work.

Friday night, watching funny videos together. 

Grandma and Papa Nelson came over on Saturday to help us color eggs. 

Logan wanted to leave a little earlier on Sunday to get back to Seattle, so we had a nice dinner of ham and all the sides on Saturday afternoon. 

We opened baskets on Sunday morning and Presley FaceTimed us to open hers too. 

And then we went on a walk down on the trail near Confluence Park. 

Logan left about 2 and we had leftover ham and rolls for dinner. 

We had a special engagement on Saturday evening too!

Mylee and Ryan got engaged!
