The football games have been lots of fun too, hanging out with friends, driving around after the game, dressing up in the theme each Friday game.

The Tri-Cities family was doing their Alzheimer's Walk this morning so we decided to go for an outdoors walk too.  We went down to Confluence Park.  It was lovely out.

Harper's Freshman Homecoming: Saturday, October 19th, 2024

 Harper had plans to go to homecoming with friends so we ordered a couple of dresses and also went out to Macy's to look too. 

I showed her a picture of Presley's freshman homecoming dress and she said, "hmmm, styles have changed". ha ha!

Cashmere Jv and Varsity actually had games at Eastmont on Saturday. 

The JV played at 11:30, and varsity at 1:00

The JV won and varsity lost today. 

The other setter was hurt so Harper got to warm up the varsity girls today. 

She's never been able to do that before. 

We rushed home after her game and both her and Ry got ready for pictures at 5. 

I went with Harper to her friends house where the group was meeting and Dave went with Rylan to his group pictures. 

Jack was so cute and brought her a bouquet of flowers. 

 And Harper had a little trouble with the boutonniere even though she watched a video on the way to pictures.

They went out to dinner at Red Robin and then to the dance. 

Harper texted about 10:30 that she was ready to be picked up so I got her and her friend from the high school. 

With her light up bouquet at pick up time.

Rylan's Senior Homecoming: Saturday, October 19th, 2024

 

Dave has always been the iron guy at our house, and this week has been no exception. 

He's been so busy at work that I texted him, "do you have time to press Ry's clothes.  I can do it, but I don't think it will look as nice as you do". 

There won't be too many more times that Ry has to have his dad tie his tie. 

Ry had pictures at the McKenna's house at 5:00 and Harper had pics at 5:00 too. 

Dave went with Ry and I went with Harper and then hustled over to the McKenna's to catch the last couple of minutes. 

They went out to eat at the Railhouse, ran through DQ, and then went to the dance.
