Our Week-End

Harper had Friday off of school so she hung out with us today.

It was extreme black and orange gameday at Cashmere so we went searching for things for Ry to wear.

We did buy them these shorts, but they'll be returning.  They were way too short.

We looked around for cute Halloween costumes.

We went out to lunch and then stopped by our new Crumbl Cookie to buy some treats.

Harper went with a group of friends to the Taylor Swift movie.
(Presley went in Spokane with friends on Saturday)

While Harper was at the movie,  Dave and I went to the Homecoming Game and stayed for the fireworks show after the big win!

Rylan had a fun night with a big group of friends for his Junior Homecoming.

Logan had a game on Sunday and he played with this splint under his glove.
It was an easy win, and his finger is slowly straightening out.

Presley went to a pumpkin patch in Spokane with a group of friends.

Harper had her friend Mason over on Sunday and we relaxed, watched football, and got ready for the week ahead.

We ended Sunday night with one last dip in the pool and we turned off the heater.  It's getting officially closed for the season tomorrow.

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 41 (2023)

 Day 281, Sunday, October 8th

Logan making a stop today in a pretty one sided game.
Great to see him play again this fall.
He played well!

Day 282, Monday, October 9th

Harper had a great day at her volleyball game.
She served so well, with ace after ace, and scoring the final winning point.
But she did lodge the ball with a massive bump into the ceiling of the gym as well :)

Day 283, Tuesday, October 10th

I took Harper to Cashmere today to watch a middle school football game and was able to see this beautiful tree lined street before the leaves fall.  I remembered it from last year's drive to take Ry to school.

Day 284, Wednesday, October 11th

Logan was injured in his soccer game tonight (won 6-0).
He was diagnosed with mallet finger.
This happened a few minutes into the second half and he thought he had dislocated or maybe broken his finger while the game continued on.
He texted this to Dave afterwards, and Dave knew what it was.
They'll try to splint it to straighten it out.

Day 285, Thursday,  October 12th

I just wanted to remember school drop off this year.
Pink backpack, Birkenstocks with socks, Stanley cup, lunch in a Lululemon bag, and phone in hand.

Day 286, Friday, October 13th

Dave and I went to Cashmere's Homecoming football game.
Ry is somewhere down there in the orange/black and watching the fireworks show.

Day 287, Saturday, October 14th

Rylan's Junior Homecoming Night

Gonzaga Family Weekend

We left for Spokane on Friday after school.

We hadn't seen Presleyin 7 weeks so we were really looking forward to spending the weekend with her.

It was Gonzaga's Family Weekend.

We had tickets to Scarywoods on Friday evening, so as soon as we arrived, we headed towards Hayden, ID.  We arrived about 7:30, parked, and made our way into the park, just as it was getting dark and chilly.

Dave took a selfie in the zombie war zone.

There were scary looking characters as we were walking in and one kind of got close to Harper and I as we made our way past and she moved right into a concrete block.
I didn't know she was even hurt but Presley texted me while they were waiting in line for the first ride to bring some wipes and a bandaid because Harper's legs were bleeding.
Scarywoods- 1,  Harper - 0

We had a fun time at Scarywoods!

Presley and Harper slept at Presley's apartment and Dave, Ry and I stayed at the Davenport.
We woke up  and had breakfast and drove to Gonzaga to meet up with the girls.

We walked the campus, rode lime scooters, went to the Photo Booth, played in the inflatables,  and visited the food trucks and vendors.  And they'll make fun of me if I didn't mention I made us all stay in line for the Family Fun Weekend t-shirts :)

Saying goodbye from her deck.
It was such a beautiful and fun time with Presley.
