Day 268, Saturday, September 25th

Ry hasn't been much help to his soccer team this fall.
There has been so many conflicts with the football and soccer practice schedule.
But he offered to guest play when they are short on players and they asked him to come to this Saturday game.
Ry played mid field and they won by a lot.  It was fun to watch him play in the Apple Bowl.

Day 269, Sunday, September 26th

Dave had been in Philadelphia for the past few days and was able to take a couple of extra days to fly in to see Logan.  He picked him up on Sunday morning for breakfast.
Some of the other soccer players were in there too and referred to Logan as "GK".
Then they said to Logan and Dave, "wait is this senior GK?"

Practicing volleyball serves tonight.

Day 270, Monday, September 27th

Presley's first day of her sophomore year at Wenatchee Valley College for her Running Start program.
All of her classes are online again but she's hopeful that she'll be in person for her winter courses.

Day 271, Tuesday, September 28th

We like to have chicken pot pies when Dave is out of town because he doesn't like them.

Day 272, Wednesday, September 29th

He has consistently chosen black bands at each of his appointments but was convinced to get pink this month for upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Day 273, Thursday, September 30th

Harper had her first volleyball jamboree today.
#53 had some great serves (there's not a lot of rallies back and forth so serving is important)

It was Harper's friends' birthday today and her mom texted me to tell me that she didn't want to ride the bus to school on her birthday and asked if we could pick her up and bring her with us.
Of course!  A morning ride with a friend!

It was the chosen Apple Blossom play but was cancelled last spring and rescheduled for the fall.

They both have glasses and wore ear plugs, but did get in the middle of the mosh pit at one point.

Presley's group got to preview the new Ratatouille Ride.
The photographer told them to act like rats and Grandma really took that seriously :).

Day 249, Monday, September 6th

Presley was on the midnight flight back home from Seattle to
Wenatchee.

Ry and two of his Wenatchee friends went on a bike ride today.

Day 250, Tuesday, September 7th

They won and he had some great kicks!
Ry and his friend Luke.
They played with each other on the same soccer team for lots of years.

Another great game for Logan's team.
Logan in bright green, bottom right, running over to the crowd in the stands.

Today they came to the house and made pumpkin muffins.

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 35 (2021)

 Day 239, Friday, August 27th

Presley left her trip to Florida with the Lindholm's and Grandma Kreider.
This was her first solo flight from Wenatchee to Seattle, where she met up with the big group.

I came home and these two notes from Ry and Harper were out on the table for them to read.

Day 240, Saturday, August 28th
Ry got her jersey today!  Big #80
His JV team had a jamboree today, but because of COVID and the number of practices he missed, he  couldn't be in pads.  He was the water boy today.

Presley and Mylee at Animal Kingdom today.

Day 245, Thursday, September 2nd

Logan had a pre-season game today and we were able to watch the live stream.
So thankful for technology to allow this to happen.
Logan started as goalkeeper (bright green, almost at mid field) and they won today!

Harper's First Day of Middle School

Harper had her middle school orientation on Tuesday, August 24th.
There are not allowing hall lockers right now so we received her schedule and walked to each class.
She says she's ready and excited for tomorrow!

Presley giveing her some middle school words of wisdom before we leave.

No lockers means she has to carry her lunch and PE uniform and bag to all her classes.

I had sent this text out to some of her friends' parents but as we drove up teachers were out there shuffling kids in the front doors.  Harper just ended up walking in on her own.

There she goes!

Presley didn't have school today but she did get her ASB picture.
Seniors always do a little funny picture since they have senior pics that go in the year book.

Waiting for pick up with a friend.

Presley and I took her to Blue Spoon for an after school treat.

And she had gymnastics this night.

A very good first day of middle school!
