Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 8 (2021)

 Day 50, Friday, February 19th

Rylan finishing his band assignment for next week. 

Day 51, Saturday, February 20th

Presley's 17 and a HALF birthday!

We had half doughnuts, she opted for half an apple. 

Day 52, Sunday, February 21st

Our region is in Phase 2 and that means that restaurants are open at 25 % capacity. 

We ate in for lunch. 

Day 53, Monday, February 22nd

Make your own pizza night. 

Day 54, Tuesday, February 23rd

Twelve and a HALF today!

She did request half doughnuts. 

Day 55, Wednesday, February 24th

Giving Chewy a shower in the boys bathroom. 

Day 56, Thursday, February 25th

Harper completing some schoolwork in the morning. 

Valentines Memories

 

We started this morning with heart pancakes. 

Dave was worried about the roads to Lewiston and decided to get going pretty quickly. 

Ry's first game was at 6:10 and he gave himself plenty of time to drive slowly. 

Harper got a little Chewy love this morning. 

Dad left with instructions of how to run the snow blower and Presley got to work. 

She did a good job.  Harper and I tried to do it the next morning and failed. 

Presley made heart shaped cookies. 

And I picked up heart shaped pizza and salad for dinner. 

Presley and Harper took an evening dip in the hot tub to end the night. 

Ry played 2 games today (6:10 and 8:35) and lost both. 

The ended the tournament this weekend playing four games total, and they won one and lost three. 

Samee texted us a picture of the card Miryn made for Nate. 

We love her a "HO" lot!

And for Harper's last Valentines party,  she gave our Pop Rocks and a geode to break open at home with the tag "You're a Gem".

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 7 (2021)

 Day 43, Friday, February 12th

Harper had her Valentine party at school today and she has exactly ONE pink shirt to wear.

We had to be extra careful that she didn't spill any leftover spaghetti down her front before heading to school.  

Day 44, Saturday, February 13th

Winter this year was pretty much condensed into 10 days, starting with snow on the 12th.

Rylan had a friend over and they played in the snow and went sledding for a while.

Day 45, Sunday, February 14th

Dave and Ry went to a basketball tournament in Lewiston for Sunday and Monday so I have zero pictures of Ry.  But this was the last picture I took on Valentines Day. 

Day 46, Monday, February 15th

The roads were not the best and within 5 minutes of getting home, both Dave and Ry joined me in the hot tub. 

(No school today because of President's Day)

Day 47, Tuesday, February 16th

Ry playing his game this morning before school started for him.

Day 48, Wednesday, February 17th

It was dress as. your favorite book character day at school. 

Harper put together this look to represent Coyote Sunrise. 

Day 49, Thursday, February 18th

Ry and Harper practicing recorder songs.  

Ry remembers a lot of the practice book from 3 years ago. 

Superbowl #55 (February 7, 2021)

 

February 7th, 2021

Featured the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs the Kansas City Chiefs

We had a very low key Sunday. 

Just watched the game, had lots of snacks, and got ready for the week ahead. 

I made a charcuterie board to snack on throughout the game.

Harper made us a cotton candy board.

and Presley made us cupcakes with B for the Buccaneers (she couldn't make little ships) and arrows for the Chiefs. 

We had plenty to eat all day!

We filled out our grid and added Logans name in a few squares. 

Presley and Harper danced to The Weekend's halftime performance. 

It really wasn't much of a game so Harper finished her class valentines. 

And Harper and I finished this heart yarn wreath. 

We hung them on our bedroom doors. 

The Buccaneers won 31-9 today and Tom Brady earned his 7th Super Bowl ring. 

Even Logan was a $5.00 winner!

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 6 (2021)

 Day 36, Friday, February 5th

Picking up Ry from school this afternoon. 

Day 37, Saturday, February 6th

Harper coloring/creating her Valentines envelope to take to school Monday. 

Kids had to bring their valentines and distribute them by Tuesday so they could "rest" in quarantine before the others were allowed to open them. 

Day 38, Sunday, February 7th

A Super Bowl charcuterie board. 

Tom Brady's Buccaneers defeated the reigning Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. 

Day 39, Monday, February 8th

Ry doing the catch the coins from your elbow trick.

Day 40, Tuesday, February 9th

On my way home and I passed Presley taking Chewy for a walk. 

Day 41, Wednesday, February 10th

Not gonna lie...it felt good to be needed by my oldest. 

Day 42, Thursday, February 11th

Ry's band class meets on Zoom every Thursday morning at 8:30.  

It's his earliest morning of the week. 

Lea's Day-Lea's, Week 5 (2021)

 Day 29, Friday , January 29th

Presley's letter from WVC congratulating her on making the President's List. 

Day 30, Saturday, January 30th

Presley and Rylan cooking goodies in the kitchen. 

Day 31, Sunday, January 31st

I was out with Chewy and Presley started singing to me from her window. 

Day 32, Monday, February 1st

Picking up Harper from school. 

Day 33, Tuesday, February 2nd

Dad has been watching Cobra Kai and this tee showed up in an Amazon package. 

Day 34, Wednesday, February 3rd

Library via Zoom.  Her librarian is reading to her whole class.  

Harper does all of her specialists over Zoom. 

Day 35, Thursday, February 4th

She's learning to play her recorder over Zoom too. 

Recorder is optional but Rylan did it and earned all of his belts in Recorder Karate and Harper wanted to try to do that too.
