43 Birthdays!

I woke up this morning to balloons hanging on my door!

Presley remembered that I do this for the kids and she put these up for me. 

I thought this was so sweet. 

(You can see a coffee waiting for me on the hutch, thank you Dave!)

The boys washed my car for me. 

The kids swam this afternoon. 

We went out to eat dinner at Olive Garden on a windy and chilly evening. 

And we came home for cake and ice cream. 

And Presley wrote a birthday message to me on Instagram.

I've got to talk to her about selecting pictures to post...ha ha!

Alyson Graduates: June 3rd, 2017

Alyson graduated from Kamiakin High School on Saturday, June 3rd. 

Presley, Harper and I drove to Kennewick on Friday night and stayed the night with Grandma. 

Papa stayed home with them after they went to bed, and Mom and I went to the high school where Amy and Thomas were decorating for the Senior party. 

I think it had been a long week for all the Lindholm's. 

On Saturday morning, we tried to show up early to the Toyota Center to secure a box seat for our whole group.  We found one with an unlocked door and camped out there for a little while. Unfortunately, another family showed up and told us you have to reserve one of the boxes early and that this one was their's.  Ooops....we ended up kind of in the back of the arena, but we had good seats to watch her walk in. 

Cristy made us the letters to hold up.

and she saw us (or maybe heard us first)!

It was a nice graduation ceremony.  It wasn't too long as another school was holding their graduation a few hours later.  

Smarty pants Grandma brought her binoculars. 

Miryn gave us kisses and fed us grapes throughout the ceremony. 

Alyson received a very special award for her commitment to the Sports Medicine program from her teacher.  She has volunteered many, many hours to the program.

And most of the people who came to her graduation ceremony!

Alyson and Mylee went to some graduation parties.

The rest of us went to eat lunch, and then over to Papa Berries apartment to get a tour. 

We drove home and arrived about 8:00. 

Mylee sent me a sweet text as I was driving. 

Wouldn't miss it for the world Mylee!

In two years, 3 out of the 4 here will be graduating!

Logan hiked up Saddlerock with his soccer team and the women's semi-pro soccer team tonight. 

Day 151, Wednesday, 31st

Presley played Sterling Middle School today in soccer. 

Sterling gives one player from the other team a sportsmanship medal at the end of their games. 

They gave the medal to Presley today. 

Day 152, Thursday, June 1st

Presley had her braces removed today. 

Day 153, Friday, June 2nd

Harper loves to work on word searches. 

Day 154, Saturday, June 3rd

Alyson graduated today!

Braces Off!

On Thursday, June 1st, Presley went had an appointment with the orthodontist to have her braces removed. 

She hadn't said much to her friends because Dr. Merrill had to check her teeth one more time before giving the final okay for removal. 

I took a couple last pictures of her at home with her braces on. 

They were coming off today!

She got her candy bar sign when she left today. 

She snap chatted all of her friends on the drive from the ortho office back to her school. 

Later that evening she had her spring choir concert. 

They sang "Flashlight" and used their phones.

After the concert the kids wanted to go to Blue Spoon so there was quite a group there. 

A fun way to start the month of June!

Alyson's Graduation Party

Thomas and Amy hosted a graduation party at their house for Alyson on Memorial Day. 

Amy had lots of pictures out on display. 

Papa made a graduation video for her.

As we were leaving I noticed Alyson's head in the potted plants...she's blooming!
